ABOUT ME

Hello you,

My name is Daniela Costa and I’m a third-year journalism student at Southampton Solent University.

Originally from Portugal, I’ve moved to the UK in 2016, so I could study one of my greatest passions: Journalism. Since then, I’ve dedicated in full to the course and to what I want to do when I graduate. I’ve worked for local companies like Unity 101, Go! Southampton and Voice FM. I’m the owner of two blogs: Dani, The Explorer, and The Lead Vocal. My work is very extensive in several media like radio, television, and magazines.

I’m currently working on a radio documentary on Addiction to Technology and why is it not considered a medical condition in the UK, which is probably my biggest piece of journalism till date.

I’ve created this blog to showcase the work I’ve done throughout my degree, both for the university and professionally.
